Emergency Pause a Market

An emergency pause helps mitigate rug-pull risk by suspending certain market functions while still allowing users to withdraw their assets at any time. Curators can execute this by following the steps below:

Go to Curator Dashboard

If you haven't curated anything yet, follow the steps on the "Create a New Market " page first

If you haven’t assigned the Emergency Pauser role to your address yet, follow the Delegation guide.

Select a specific market and make sure you’re on the “Emergecy pause” section

Click "Pause the market" button with caution

As soon as you execute this, certain transactions related to that market will be temporarily halted.

When this is executed, PT and YT issuance will be paused, while redemption remains available—users can still withdraw their underlying assets at any time.
