Curator Guide
A permissionless system is very useful for promoting exponential scaling. It is widely known that such systems are inherently autonomous and scalable, as the expansion of the user base does not result in an increase in management overhead or costs.
But does simply building a permissionless system also guarantee a better user experience? We don’t think so. Users demand higher performance and more feature-rich products, which require tremendous ongoing management and improvements.
That’s why we built Napier v2 to co-create on-chain finance with you.
You are a curator starting today.
What is Curator?
Curator. If you've had any experience in the art or music world, this term may sound familiar to you. In the music industry, there are indie bands, music labels, curators, and promoters – all of whom play important roles in supporting the music industry. In particular, music curators are responsible for selecting artists for shows and various platforms, creating mixtapes, curating playlists, and booking festival performers.
While this may seem unrelated at first, these structures offer valuable insights when thinking about the "ideal form of an open financial ecosystem.
In fact, we can already observe some DeFi projects embracing this approach today. For example, in the latest version, Uniswap v4, the qualitative aspects such as price ticks and fee tiers present in Uniswap v3 have been removed, outsourcing the management of those qualitative elements to the open market. In other areas, we also see projects like Euler and Morpho, which have curators (governors), outsourcing the risk management in on-chain credit to an open market centered around these curators (governors).
What does Napier's Curator do?
Napier v2 also features curators. Here, curators can freely build using Napier's technology base without limits, driven by economic rationality. By leveraging Napier v2's infrastructure, curators can offer various on-chain wealth management services and enhance them.
The current version includes an all-in-one interface (Curator Dashboard) to manage and utilize related tech stacks such as creation of PT and YT, trading systems and others.
Use-Case for Curators
From banks and DeFi projects to KOLs, the potential for Napier v2 curators is boundless.
Financial Institutions and Fintech Companies
Develop on-chain yield products compliant with regulations and standards.
Launch pilot programs for institutions to explore on-chain opportunities.
Generate revenue through on-chain asset and yield curation.
“Fintech in the front, DeFi in the back”: Offer attractive returns on idle customer assets by tapping into on-chain demand for leverage, while monetizing through PT and YT curation.
DeFi Projects and DAOs
Implement sustainable growth strategies by providing users with additional earning opportunities that leverage existing product expertise, sales channels, and growth plans.
Use incentives to boost supply of yield-bearing assets, drive curation revenue, and strengthen financial health.
Hedge Funds
Combine on-chain asset curation (e.g., lending, restaking) with yield product development to gain new revenue streams, reduce costs, improve margins, and enhance flexibility.
Deliver efficient yield trading by leveraging generalized liquidity engines.
Develop AI curators to manage and optimize on-chain asset parameters.
Set benchmark rates and distribute them via oracles.
User-Facing Applications and Yield Aggregators
Support decentralized frontends and integrate yield aggregator strategies.
Simplify on-chain asset management to foster broader adoption.
Provide additional utilities (e.g., fixed returns, new earning avenues).
Offer an all-in-one dashboard to consolidate various asset curation tasks.
Monetize proprietary risk analysis and yield optimization strategies.
Game Projects and Companies
Gamify yield management strategies to speed up on-chain wealth management adoption.
KOLs and Marketing Agencies

Seamless: no extra development required
Everywhere: available on nearly all EVM chains
Using Napier Curator Interface
Napier Curator Interface gives curators access to the full suite of Napier’s functionality, allowing you to issue, manage PT and YT create various yield management strategies through Napier and other DeFi protocols to carry out various activities, such as:
And more to come!
Vision: One Interface for All things for DeFi
Interface for All things for DeFi
Napier Curator Interface (aka Curator Hub) is designed to offer a seamless experience, enabling anyone (Curators) to create PT and YT and deploy various related technology stacks without permission.
Economic Rationality Allows for Multiple Endpoints
The Napier protocol is focused on revenue distribution to curators, while the Napier interface is nonprofit, ensuring long-term alignment with users and leaving space for others to build profitable products on top of Napier protocol.
The Napier Interface is a Network Explorer
Neutral
The Napier Interface provides an unopinionated platform for various yield management strategies without bias. It will natively display all deployed markets that are verified on Napier Interface, presenting relevant data and trust signals to assist users.
Note also that any Mint/Trade/Pool pages will be accessible for any market if accessed with a direct link, except for some markets due to legal constraints.
If one accesses a page of a Mint/Trade/Pool that is not verified, one will have a warning.
About users' position:
All positions taken on Napier, through the interface or not, will be listed in the positions table.
If one has a position in a market that is not verified, a warning will be displayed in the user dashboard.
Accessible & Auditable
Auditable: Fully open-source with open-source SDKs for building specialized apps.
SDK, API and Self-Hosting: Fully open-sourced front-end and subgraphs, along with SDKs and APIs to assist with self-hosting.
Understandable: Aims to be easily understandable without making opinionated choices.
Usable: Allows any user to interact with all of Napier’s smart contract functionalities.
Resilient: Aims to minimize security and liveness assumptions.
Non-Profit
The Napier Interface is non-profit, ensuring long-term alignment with users and leaving space for others to build profitable products on top of Napier protocol.
